What was the best part about using You Don't Need a CRM!?

This is a sales software program very similar to a customer relation management tool I considered for a couple of projects. I like that you can create leads quickly from an Excel spreadsheet, sending an email, scanning business cards or from your website contact form. The ability to BCC leads from your website to have them populate in your account is one of the stronger features. There is a mobile version available so you can utilize Android and iOS devices including desktop, laptop, tablets and smartphones. The mobile version allows you to scan business cards and have them upload automatically as well. You can tag leads for quick search. There are stats you can export as well. It integrates with Google Calendar, Outlook and iCal which is convenient. And there are great integrations available which definitely add value to their offer including Google Apps, Slack, MailChimp and Zapier which contains hundreds of additional integration options. The collaborative nature of the software allows you to share most aspects of your account and preview stats related to your team as well. I appreciate there is a very sound educational component available on their site to help you with the software and sales in general.

What would you change about your experience with You Don't Need a CRM!?

It's very simple to update the status of your lead but my preference is a visual sales pipeline in which you can drag and drop prospects into the next stage. I find it easier to remember and more fulfilling to do somehow. And another preference is for label based menus and they are labeled but not on all pages. And this is a minor issue but having to work with multiple software each day with icon based menus is the problem, as it's not as efficient to have to recall each icon on every software all the time.

Overall Feedback

This is a solid option as a customer relation management software even though it supposedly not one by their name. It's relatively straight forward to use especially if you have experience with CRM's previously and I appreciate that it focuses on leads only. Rather than contact, leads and opportunities. But to be honest, now that I've tried a couple dozen CRM's, while it is among the simplest of them it's not the simplest. I can think of three which I prefer over this which seemed to be more visual, as well as have a better workflow efficiency possible but that only my opinion. Pricing is quite reasonable compared with most which charge a lot more for much more complicated systems. And it's straight forward as well with no features made exclusively available for higher paid plans which I definitely appreciate.
