I joined WizIQ when it was still in Beta stage and was responsible for setting two departments from the ground up, i.e. Customer Support and Bussiness Intelligence. I also had an opportunity to be a part of a team responsible for raising Series B funding and work closely on Learning marketplace from its inception. Being a part of Customer Support and BI team also meant that I was interacting a lot with all departments (Product, Marketing, HR, Finance, Sales and Technology). Naturally having such a vast experience in a span of 6 and half years would not have been possible if I had been working with an established brand. We started out from a small office in Chandigarh and now WizIQ has a 250+ members team with offices in Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and the US. Future plans include more expansion for a global presence. The company's Infrastructure has definitely improved over the years. Gurgaon center with spacious seating arrangements, nice ambience, connectivity to public transport and its strategic location makes it easy to attract top talent. When it comes to work pressure, everyone tends to take it easy here. That is why you will find people stick around for a long time. Everyone is cordial here and only time they will be fighting is when they are waiting for their turn on the Table Tennis table. Unless it's mission critical, you won't be asked to do overtime. Employees take the ownership of the product and most of them are customer centric. If you are looking for work life balance (if there is something like it) then you are at right place.

For a company with 250+ employees, it does not have a proven person heading the HR. The effect can be seen down the line with employees often wondering about their future. There is little to none training available for skill enhancement and Team Leads often lack leadership qualities. The food served in the canteen will not have you wanting for more. The sales team are always under pressure to deliver numbers and it's definitely not a place to work if you are not self-driven.

If you are looking for comfort then you are at right place. But if you have a hunger for learning and looking to challenge status quo, you should look for other available options. There is no innovation happening here and most of the times you will be working catch up to existing market leaders.
