Volusion

Volusion is a great tool for eCommerce cart platform that has a variety of pricing plans that suits a different need. Volusion is relatively priced well comparing some other tools. Even the Mini plan features a Facebook Store and mobile store all along with free templates. A security certificate is necessary and it is billed separately. Implementing Volusion is quite quick and easy and they put demo data on the dashboard on the first deployment.

Volusion has a good list of integration capabilities but still is missing many integration possibilities especially with POS platforms like Vend. Volusion features integration with QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Constant Contact, Doba, Xero and more but its integration is not the best as it is seen on some other tools. The tutorial featured on Volusion are not so much helpful.

Volusion is a totally web based cloud service which does not require any hardware or software installation except a good internet bandwidth. Volusion has a leg on Shopify since it does not limit with product options. The smart match option allows picking the available products in the store to be shown on the dashboard. Volusion has a built-in SEO functionalities that are very useful including SE friendly URL, customized 404 error page and more.
