This was a tracking software solution I had considered for our online project recently. To be able to identify prospects on your site is a big part of measuring and scaling up your business and so I liked the ability to get notifications immediately in detail about several aspects of their search. Including how the page was reached. And what keyword searches were done as well. In this sense it's great to help as a business development tool to help you know what keywords are effective in the search engines. The dashboard was very clean and intuitive with everything laid out in a simple way which I liked as well. The integrations were good as they included Zapier which has several hundred possibilities on it's own. As well as Salesforce and Marketo which are both industry standards by many accounts. The triggers were very good and offered a good level of detail certainly.

When I searched for this companies reviews available elsewhere online I was surprised to find negative reviews about them selling customer data after a client left them. Another states an employee left the company for this reason. The CEO of the company provided a rebuttal which denied the fact they were selling customer information as well as that their was any customer with the name given of the person who made the complaint. I am aware there are two sides to every story but in the big picture to get involved in choosing a company with a risk such as this involves risk. Yet that was not the deal breaker for my choice not to move forward with them. It is the fact there are several options available which are more cost effective such as Google Analytics and MixPanel.

This tracking software is intuitive to use and easy to implement. Being able to identify the company currently on your site via IP address is smart but the copy on their site doesn't quite make it clear that it's someone from the company who is visiting but probably not the exact person, as they must source the contacts from the company from their own or a third party database. I don't see how they could identify the exact person on your site otherwise. So in that sense it appears they are over promising somewhat in their sales copy. It is still useful to know which companies are interested in your company however so there is value in the offer. In fact it seems to be more of a sales tool than they give it credit for in their sales copy in this sense. Otherwise, I believe Google Analytics has much more in terms of enterprise level reporting possible and it's free so that's the obvious choice for analytics in my opinion. However, considering it integrates with Salesforce and Marketo as well as many other apps via Zapier this could be a powerful tool for lead generation perhaps.
