Vim Interactive

I like that Vim is fully extensible with plug-ins to control other software and other programming tools and it is a fast, in console text editor. One package that I think is worth mentioning is Vundle, a package managed for Vim. It is open source, free and the best vi editor for Linux.

For anyone coming from a GUI text editor, he will surely have to learn a lot because the learning curve of this software is quite steep that mostly cant finish the process and just call it quits. It is also hard to keep up since there are new packages released every day.

Overall, Vim offers an enhanced productivity. It offers extra fast editing of codes while programming or developing. It also lessens my wrist pain because it doesn’t require frequent using of the mouse since it is kind of annoying and it slows me down. I just recommend that you need to be patient with it and try to learn it well. You won’t regret it.
