Viber

Viber is very popular all across the globe, and since they have over 200 milion active users, they are certainly trustworthy (to say the least). The application itself is compatible across almost all popular platforms (including Windows PCs and mobile phones, Android devices, iOS devices, etc.), and what they offer can definitely be used as a good piece of software for making phone calls. Their service is completely free, they offer you an abundance of cool and entertaining stickers and emojis, they support file uploads (meaning that if you have a document you want to forward to the other party, you can send it with ease via Viber), and their functionality is top-quality (with room for improvement)! Finally, another cool, new feature that Viber has is the Public Chat feature, where you can literally advertise your company and inform everyone about your promotions and similar things. If I were to single out a feature in Viber that I find the most amusing, it's this one!

Here comes the bad part - Viber's performance during outgoing calls is often bad. Even though Viber supports video chatting, it's not something I would recommend, as the quality of the sound you're receiving can become much worse. I think it has to do something with their servers, but either way, there are alternatives to this app if you're dissatisfied with Viber and the way it works.

All in all, Viber is an amazing messaging app that doesn't really focus on delivering good-quality calls to you, the user. Viber is absolutely amazing when it comes to sending files, sharing pictures and videos, and sending text messages. It's also user-friendly on top of it all! The app's functionality is something I have to praise, but once again, if you're on a strict look-out for calling apps, search for a better alternative! My rating is a 5/5, because their services are entirely free, to be honest.
