Viber

After using Skype, someone suggested I try Viber. I was really surprised t how versatile it is and how Viber is so much more resourceful. I feel it is almost simpler to use and the quality of calls is even better than I have experienced in the past with Facetime, Skype, and Google Hangouts. The best thing about Viber is that it appears not to take up so much data when using it on mobile or battery and when I have used it I have not noticed any drop calls or freezing video screens.

I think what I do not like the most about Viber is that its interface just seems bulky and not organized in a fashion someone could really use all it has to offer without fishing around finding their options and features. The other thing that bugs me is that when they perform updates, its always a learning curve to find out the vast changes they made. I have to reteach myself where everything is.

Ever since the birth of Skype, there have been other VOIP apps and software products that continue to be built. Now VOIP has evolved so much that there are hundreds of FREE applications that allow you to share photos, video chat, voice chat and more. Viber is one of those that is newer, but that has streamlined the process for people in entirety. If you like Skype, you will like Viber and most likely prefer it more. I recommend giving it a try.
