VerticalResponse

VerticalResponse is an marketing automation suite of software as a service which was really easy to sign up for and test which I like. Honestly, I've tried over three hundred softwares in the last six weeks and this is the easiest and quickest trial I've signed up for so that's a good start. We've just launched an ecommerce start up and will experience rapid growth this year with our B2C brand becoming available in several dozen locations across Canada in a major department store though we can also reach out B2B as it is a great corporate gift product. VerticalResponse has features suited to both with their email marketing and event marketing components available to sync with your list in the Vertical Response Classic area of their website so that's good. There's an amazing free forever plan and you can send up to four thousand emails per month to one thousand subscribers which more than the MailChimp free plan and the ExpressPigeon free plan, I believe. The templates are impressive as well and are all very professional looking. This is a huge time saver because creating even one of these unless you're very savvy with coding and graphic design will take you weeks. So it's great to have so many sweet ones to choose from already in your account. The editor is quite good you can completely customize your emails and forms to suit our brand though the free plan will have their branding included which is understandable. I like that it helps you double check everything is setup correctly and then test it prior to sending so you can know what it will look like in the inbox and correct any formatting or message before you send it. The importing has some smart features such as checking for broken email addresses and checking for duplicate emails so that's helpful. I like the ability to schedule your emails in the future and also send the same message again to follow up with those individuals who did not initially respond.

The pricing for a list of twenty five thousand subscribers is $232 per month and this is more than MailChimp, Aweber, MadMimi, ExpressPigeon, iContact, GetReponse, ConstantContact and Robly for fifty thousand subscribers I just happened to know having compared them all within the last twenty four hours. The fact that they have a Classic version of their business is somewhat confusing. It's great to have an overhaul but not clear upfront on a single page what else is available. I had heard there was direct mail possible with VerticalResponse and there still is but it's slightly hidden away which made me wonder if this was still active at first. This is not a huge deal at all but doesn't help things or make my the whole process more efficient. In fact, it added more work which is never fun.

I like that there is no per user fee for the email marketing and the fact that they have free hosted event marketing and surveys. But I am most interest in the combination together with the postcard direct mail and it says as low as $0.75 per including printing and mailing but when you click on the Learn More currently on this page: http://www.verticalresponse.com/pricing/mktg-events currently it leads to further pricing details and ordering of all other products except postcards. So in that perhaps I will contact them to follow up but meanwhile I will continue the search. I recommend taking a look at this platform for email marketing certainly especially considering their free plan is fully functional and includes more contacts and emails sent per month than any of the other email marketing free plan that I have come across.
