UpCity

UpCity is a fairly robust search engine optimization software suite that is very easy to use and comes with a good amount of education in your account. SEO is a surprisingly in depth field and this software doesn't assume that you know everything you need to know. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use. There are a series of steps it leads you through once you initially login to your account. And I appreciate the guidance to set up your profile and business keywords and targeting settings. After you complete these initial steps you have the option to go through the educational component to help you understand how to get the most out of your campaign which is helpful. It's easy to setup your campaigns as your dashboard is very intuitive and helps you discover features easily. I have read the company is very responsive to feedback and requests and I can appreciate their commitment to having the end user experience as a priority. It's quite a basic SEO system to use yet it's features are quite good and the pricing is reasonable. If you are quite new to SEO or can't be bothered with super technical software like HRefs or Moz then this is a good option to consider and it is more cost effective than these two and many others. The education available using a hands on approach is a great idea. You can save yourself from buying SEO information products and other DIY software and take care of both aspects by using UpCity. You can white label your account which is the best use of this platform in my opinion. Having all of these tools with your branding as a marketing agency is a good start to completing campaigns for your clients. I can speak to this directly having had a whitelabel setup to sell SEO through another company. The reason I chose this other company is because they actually execute the SEO and communicate with my clients using my back-end portal while offering a six month Google guarantee.

Currently UpCity doesn't have the granular search word capability nor enough categories it seems for their keyword targeting. I have done thorough keyword research for our start up and this software didn't come very close to including this list even though it is only about one hundred major keywords we have for our initial keyword based website silo. There is not option to define your search engine beyond Google and Yahoo/Bing which is okay but best if you're in the United States. Otherwise, traffic for our Canadian based business mostly uses Google.ca and the search engine rankings are quite a lot different than they are in Google.com. I have tested this with dozens of my own sites and client sites so know it to be a fact.

If you know how to use these tools and have great on-page SEO to go with your off-page SEO efforts you will see results that bring you targeted traffic to your offer. UpCity is a decent basic SEO platform that is very easy to use. If you have a team in place already performing the on-page SEO and off-page SEO for you sites or your client campaigns then this is a good way to consolidate this information into a central dashboard and use this information to prove results to clients. UpCity is very much a do it yourself platform though with some cool tools help you analytics. The lead generation aspect they offer is the ability to offer white label SEO reports from your website which is cool, though I know there are free options for this. Now that I have found WebCEO with their amazing free forever plan and a whitelabel company which will execute the SEO campaign with a six month Google guarantee it's pretty tough to justify this recurring cost. But if you're very new to SEO or have a team in place already this is a solid platform worth checking out. I will do so again once they have built out their system a bit more in the future.
