TradeShift is a supplier relationship management software which allows you to create purchase order, quotes, invoices and credit notes and connect with suppliers in a centralized account dashboard. It like how easy it is to create and send invoices. I was able to login to my account and send a test invoice within a couple minutes. It's based online so you could login through smartphones, computers, laptop or tablets anywhere there is an internet connection. TradeShift includes branch and supplier management which works seamlessly and allows you to save time with this contact information and ability to connect directly with suppliers. There are also add-ons available for TradeShift and this is definitely one of their strengths. It's easy to integrate several powerful third party software solutions to make TradeShift that much more powerful. Integrations like Paypal Payments, Connector for Sage 50, MailEDI, Poppol Access, Amazon Store and more. You can also sync to IRS or Dub & Bradstreet for example to increase the validity or verify supplier information. It's user interface is super simple to learn and begin using. It would take large companies very little time when implementing TradeShift with their onboarding process up to 75% faster than other in the market as they state on their website. That's a very significant feature with important value pertaining to maximizing ROI from this service. There is no commitment with TradeShift paid plans and backups are included with your account. You can customize templates according to trade or by other items like tax rates or taxable items. There is no editing required. No formatting. Just a bit of data entry to fill in the the blanks of the details in the template and you can get it sent very quickly. I don't think something as complex as supplier management can be made any simpler than with TradeShift. Use Tradeshift’s Business Applications platform to evolve supplier data management and governance processes that work for your unique needs. The invoices, credit notes, quotes and purchase orders received by suppliers are very professional and easy to read. And it's great there's an open API available for integrating third party software if you're business is developmentally inclined.

There is very little to dislike about TradeShift. I suppose the Home page in your account could utilize more information from your account at a glance. Such as when documents that are in draft, as well recent documents or custom notes regarding a particular project would be handy. Searching for previously used documents by item numbers would be helpful. I'm pretty certain there could be greater customization options in the account area but that's what the add-ons are for. The quote tab doesn't seem to allow quotes to be canceled or amended. Just accepted or deleted. That could be an issue in certain situations where it's important to log expired or canceled quotes without keeping it active. Even though it's relatively simple to learn for myself, I have used lots of software which helps. Anyone just starting to use TradeShift would have a very small learning curve when setting up their first documents and sending them. I suppose I'm referring to people who haven't used a software to do so much for their business such as what TradeShift does.

TradeShift enables companies to consolidate important data about global suppliers across various branches and units very simply. It would suit independent contractors very well and save you an fantastic amount of time as you can send quotes on the fly, or even take a payments. TradeShift features a free account with no credit card required. It's a great fit for smaller businesses because it's free. And TradeShift scalable enough to use for mid-size to enterprise level companies also. I'd recommend taking them up on a free account to learn whether it's the best fit for your company.
