ABOUT TESTCASELAB

Test Case Lab is a test case management tool for QA-engineers and developers.

TClab allows you to follow most of the testing activities: creating test cases, categorising them, gathering them in test plan and starting test runs.

Testcase lab includes simple search test cases by name, description or tag; bulk editing of test cases; import and export of test cases; API integration; integration with bag trackers.

Also, you can run your Jira, YouTrack, Trello, Pivotal, Asana test case management with test lab integrations.

What was the best part about using TestCaseLab?

- It is very Easy to setup. - It has Clean UI. - It is very easy to learn. - It can be easily integrated with with other tools like Jira, Pivotal etc. - It is inexpensive.

What would you change about your experience with TestCaseLab?

1) Gain a firm understanding of Fields and Filters PRIOR to migrating to practitest (this will save you loads of time for setting up your projects). It takes a minute to map out how you want the fields setup, but once that has been done 1 time, it will never need to be done again. A small number of fields was able to give me countless filters needed to sort through data 2) TestCaseLab also has a test cases "Bulk Edit" feature that is brilliant for applying fields to specific tests.

Overall Feedback

It is very good tool managing test cases. Every company should use this for their software development. There is very minimal learning curve with it, so very easy to hit the ground running. It could be used for managing the test cases, so the bugs can be addressed easily. People at business side can also easily track the bugs. We do manual regression too, so it is very useful in that sense. It provides good visibility of defects to QA team.
