Taskstream

It has has a lot of neat options, and the page layout for sharing work is very pretty.

Utter Garbage. I want to upload something, well seems simple enough. First, I click the create new folio button, so far so good, then I see an option to add items to the folder. Nice and simple one might think. Then it hits you with the message "make a selection" as it expects you have already loaded work up onto taskstream. So back to the homepage to try and find the option to do just that. so looking around the home we see, Messages. Well that's not what we want. Then we have announcements, and that's not we want either. Then there is add a link, so we give that a go and well all it does is add links to the sections already created. Still nothing to upload a file. Essentially, this is the most unintuitive piece of rubbish that is being forced down the throats of students. Want to delete something, well according to help it says this can be done through the homepage, yet again, there is nothing there.

Terrible, there are better and easier things to use out there. It makes me wonder why such a thing is a standard. If you can figure out how to make it work, that's great, but a person should have to spend 30 minutes looking around trying to figure out how to upload or delete things, not should they have to contact support or look at the help file to understand how it works. The point of technology is to make things easier, which taskstream does not do.
