I also like the overall ease of use, the push deployments and command status monitoring and threat con in addition to the central management and device and app control. The software is fast and protect against Trojans, worms, viruses spyware and more. I don't notice that my systems slow down at all while having SEP on my laptop. It's easy to setup in just a few minutes and the pricing covers your operating costs as well as your maintenance while you can access their 24/7 support anytime and all of your updates are included.

Some people may not be convinced the web based console is a secure as a local management option but this is not an issue for myself. The pricing is a bit steep for freelance contractors, small businesses or start ups or larger businesses with hundreds of end points. The software uses resources so it's a good idea to test their trial software to ensure it is going to work well for on your servers. Especially if you're running older systems with Windows XP as an operating system. The analytic reporting functionality could be enhanced to include threat assessments quarterly or licensing audits, for example.

I really like that Symantec Endpoint Protection is now based in the cloud as this makes access and deployment much easier than having to configure multiple endpoints using a local management option. It's not the least expensive option on the market but the reliability is valuable and now that Symantec is cloud based I've read that nearly all of the issues they may have had with local installations are a thing of the past.
