SurePayroll

SurePayroll is an online payroll service for small businesses with teams from one to one hundred people. I was asked to review this software service on behalf of another party and can't say I've used it directly but believe I can provide value in terms of overall features and benefits. SurePayroll is U.S. based and the greatest benefit it offers small business owners is saving time. And it's a no-brainer that compared to the manual way of doing this once learned it will allow you to focus on your business and not payroll accounting as there are reports of getting the process down to five to fifteen minutes. The service is comprehensive in that they offer direct deposit, filing and paying payroll taxes, employee pay stub access as well as payroll calculation and deductions. You can utilize a payroll preview function in real time and complete tax filing as well as payments from your central dashboard. They have a dedicated iPhone app which makes mobile payroll accounting possible. It's online based so anywhere you have an internet connection you're good to go. It also works on Windows and Mac computers and devices. I've read the payroll is quick to implement so direct deposit is not delayed in any way. This software is kept updated with the latest W-2 and 1099 forms and you can file and pay taxes locally, by state or federally. There are no setup fees and all data is secure encrypted.

A dedicated android app would be useful to those with this device. It's only U.S based so there's no international access or support. I've read reports there are not notifications that workers compensation reports are filed on time. I've read the reporting features could be enhanced and if you could export the data to CSV that would be good as it's not currently available. There is a minimum fee charged if you do not run payroll and I understand this is a bit steeper than the industry standard.

It's awesome to know it's possible to have this much payroll work done nearly automatically each month. I will definitely be recommending this service to friends I have in the U.S who could greatly benefit by doing so. I was quoted $69.99 per month for a business with one employee and bi-weekly payroll accounting services required. And two dollars per additional employee. That seems incredibly reasonable considering it would save you ten times this or more per month in time.
