Stellar Phoenix Entourage Repair

It seemed to recover my messages but in an organization that was unusable. I decided that I could not use the result and asked for a refund. My request was denied.

The structure of the message folders was not useful and I would have had to manually review and sort over 13k messages. I abandoned Entourage as my email software and deleted the repair software.

Stellar Phoenix Entourage Repair 2.0 claims to be able to repair a broken Entourage email database. You can process your database as a preview that tells you the number of messages recovered and the number of contacts recovered. I could see that the messages were there and that they contained my content. The structure looked unusual but I assumed that after they were reloaded, they would be okay. You must pay about $160 to actually try the recovery but I was desperate. The preview did not show that after the recovery, most of the folder structure of my database would be gone and all the category characteristics of my contacts would be lost. I believed that after I ran the recovery file, my database would look like it did before and it didn't. I fact, it would have been preferable to start from nothing than to use what was produced. I continued to troubleshoot and found a backup copy of the database that was several days old. I was able to restore that with some losses and recover the database in the form that I was used to seeing. At that point, I deleted your software and asked for a refund. That request was denied. It is my opinion that at the time they ask for payment, the average user has no idea what he or she is going to receive. This is a desperate moment when a person has lost hope and is vulnerable. After restoring the rge file, the result was completely unacceptable. It might have met someone's needs but certainly not mine. I am dissatisfied with the software and the company failure to consider my request for a refund. These people seem to be operating on the principle of trying to rip-off as many people as they can one time.
