The product is not well known/ recognised. When certain items get blocked, it does not offer a direct guideline on how to authorise blocked items. The malware detection systems are also at times poor. On installation, lots of services and apps are installed on the operating system which translates to a lot of processes running in the background even though it doesn’t affect the processing speed.

The product is very easy to install and also download and does not largely affect the processing speed when running in the background. The various multi-platform compatibility makes the product very accessible and in a way reliable. Though other products are leading in malware protection, Sophos is also recommendable when it comes to malware protection. A lot needs to be done to make the product well known and in gaining the trust of security software consumers.
