What was the best part about using SolidWorks Premium?
SOLIDWORKS offers complete 3D software tools that let you create, simulate, publish, and manage your data. SOLIDWORKS products are easy to learn and use, and help you design products better.Solidworks has the most polished features and user interface of all the programs I have used. It also has a vast array of specialized features that makes doing what would be tedious processes easier. It also has a vast user base and extensive online help and support forums. The PDMworks built into Solidworks is very easy to use and setup it is by far the easiest vaulting system to setup of all the other products I've used on the market. Big plus!
What would you change about your experience with SolidWorks Premium?
Solidworks is most stable working with all needed files on a local hard drive. If you have any files on remote drives, you will eventually have problems between nuisance popup boxes to lost work (between saves), nuisance crashes to corrupt work (ouch!). It is not the easiest program in the world to learn how to use. Without a textbook or someone else to explain all the different functions of the program, it can be very challenging to learn on your own.
