Skype

This app is great for portability and connectivity. All you need is a device that is internet capable and internet connection, and connecting to those people are just a few clicks away. It’s still good that Skype is evolving. Microsoft has plans for this great app, to lead and compete with viber and other applications across the internet.

The only issue in Skype is that it does not work well on slow internet connections. Good internet connectivity is required at both ends where Skype is used or else the voice cuts in between the calls and video becomes glitch. Apart from that, I don’t see any bug or anything which can be termed as worst in Skype.

The best part is that it can be installed on almost any device from laptop to computer to phones to tablets. This is a great feature since other recent competitors like watsapp or viber can be installed on mobile devices only. Another great feature is screen sharing which is important for collaborative work. It is quite good for videoconferencing. Over the years, I’ve had struggles in finding applications that would help me work efficiently and now that I have experienced this application’s features, I could say that it has incredibly improved my productivity. Now, I can make presentations, hold meetings and catch up with my social group in just a click. So I would definitely recommend other users to try this out, this is a thumbs up from me.
