Skype

I think there may be very few working professionals who have not heard of or used skype at some point or other. I have been using Skype for so many years that it is an integral part of my profession. More importantly, it is very easy to download and install. It comes with a FREE version for personal use and small business. I especially like the chat feature and the calling feature which enable me to connect with my clients for improved business. The audio and video quality are very good as well.

I think Skype can improve on the Screen sharing features and multiple conferencing users. Sometimes there are call drops suddenly and it takes lot of time to connect back. Also there are too frequent updates, which require configuring and installing again and honestly I did not find much of a difference in quality between the previous and the current versions.

The best thing about Skype is that it can be accessed almost anywhere globally and easy to configure and install. From Desktop machines, Laptops and even on mobile the app is easily integrated. I have benefited a lot using the Skype and would recommend strongly for businesses looking performance efficiency and cost savings.
