SimWalk excels in aspects that many other can’t – one of the most notable of these being advanced features that provide greater accuracy in representing station dynamics (like the group modelling of passengers). However, that’s not where the features end. Integrating seamlessly with intelligent route choice model gives much deeper and more precise simulations of passenger and station dynamics. Sounding much more complex than it really is, I can say with complete security that SimWalk is also one of the easiest softwares I have ever used.

I think one of the most notable aspects as concerning would be the lack of a version for non-profit organizations as this at first came as a trouble for us (fortunately, we overcame that, so no worries in the long-run). Besides that, we’ve encountered some issues with reaching the customer support as from time to time with an urgent question we haven’t got a hold of them.

I’d like to emphasize you shouldn’t be discouraged of the troubles I had seldom with customer service as it’s really a minor aspect, not a regularly happening case. Therefore, I must say it is not likely the case for others. Providing full-length functionality for station planning and analysis, it is in my perspective the most comprehensive tool for such tasks.
