For someone who has never used salon software in the past, the learning curve was a little too steep. We spent a few weeks training and retraining staff because the initial training provided by Shortcuts was too fast. Also, getting all the data up on the software can be really difficult so users definitely need to invest a lot of time in training and data input of the hefty price tag to get the system up and running.

Despite the minor kinks, Shortcuts remains to be the best salon software in the market today. Yes it is expensive but when you consider how much you can get done and save with it, it is pretty evident that this is the way to go. We have saved a lot of time on developing marketing programs because of its built in social and email marketing features. It has also been a huge help with inventory management, which is easily the biggest headache for any salon business. Highly recommended!!!!
