SharePoint Contract Management

I like the ability to share documents, modify documents and store all my documents in one location. I like the online editability of documents that allow real time changes to be made.I love how SharePoint is a great place to have collaboration. Users can work on documents together, even at the same time in excel, and SharePoint will keep a history of the document and who made what changes. SharePoint also has security which is very easy to use, yet great in how secure things are kept hidden to users. SharePoint also has a great workflow tool. Uploading, downloading, and sending documents is very easy for users also. The task list is also wonderful for keeping track of projects.

There is a significant learning phase to using SharePoint and takes a considerable amount of time to get used to it . SharePoint does allow for a lot of customization without knowing many languages but .Net developers can do a lot more , for other users that are not .Net specialists , it is pretty hard so it is difficult for me to create more out of the box options for solutions to my problems . Sometimes it glitches out and I have to close out the file I'm using and open it again . Other than that, it works well .

I absolutely recommend SharePoint as a tool for team collaboration , an intranet , a dashboard/reports depository , and other various needs . SharePoint is very flexible and can fulfill almost all of your needs though it takes a lot of time to get to know the product .This software is generally good for storing documents in one place but not for editing them.If you need a stable, trusted, in-the-cloud system that allows multiple users to access files in real time , SharePoint is the place to be .
