ShareFile

ShareFile is a document sharing and storage solution which is by Citrix the company with the popular GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar softwares as a service. It also works from these other video conferencing software so from within your meeting you can send documents and files. Contracts too and have them signed using the eSignature software which is a great integration to have. By using GoToMeeting Free for up to three people which is typically the size of a sales meeting online when you listen to the clients needs as you go through your slide deck. Having the ability to send reports, documentation, proposals and contracts which could be signed to close the deal makes this a sales tool which is awesome. Along the lines of Skype for Business where you have video conferencing and Office 365 tools and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. And there is a way to have electronic signatures in Skype for Business but I don't believe DocuSign is natively integrated for easy sync with your account as of yet. Though you certainly can through Microsoft Dynamics CRM. For the price they are asking this makes ShareFile an appealing offer if you do not need to connect a full customer relationship manager but need for a sales presentation platform and file collaboration with contract signing. There certainly could be many way to utilize this for teachers who have students for example and have a need for signatures for certification. Or agents could have meetings with talent and sign the deal on the dotted line even when in remote locations which is a cool idea. ShareFile is extremely mobile adaptive and responsive which is a big plus. They make sure the most amount of platforms are available to share files with that I have seen in my research so far in that they have an app just for BlackBerry users. So even you're covered. It works with Mac, iOS, Windows and various other Microsoft integrations like Outlook and so on which is all good.

I personally feel the electronic signature module should be included in the Personal plan. It is the only function that is missing in terms of core functionality useful for my business without having to upgrade to the Team plan which I have no need for pretty much the rest of the upgraded features. It's enough to have me continue my search for the best video conferencing system with CRM and electronic signatures built in. Hey if we can easily add marketing automation and accounting that would be good too. I also feel that 100 GB is relatively low for sixteen dollars per month billed annually. I pay less than this for over one thousand gigabytes of cloud storage with their competition. I know this is not OneDrive by Microsoft but one might think that close integrations with their products by relative comparison someone is going to notice it's a whole lot more costly than Office 365 for seven bucks per month with one terabyte? Most users would never even use the vast majority of the storage I would guess so by upping the number in the Personal plan they at least withdraw the logical conclusion that because they work with Microsoft so close it would do them well to consider this. Also, how can it be viable for their GoToMeeting Free software now available and yet it's $16 per month to store files. When you can use a third party electronic digital signing software almost as easily during your free meeting. So there is perhaps not as much continuity with their product line as there could be but I certainly could be missing something here and it's just my opinion.

Overall, it is a solid system that is easy to learn and begin using quickly. If you have a BlackBerry this well may be the best fit for you. And if you are using another device it very well may be a great fit too especially if you are using other Citrix products like GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar but other than that I cannot honestly find something that differentiates it from other cloud storage solutions other than this and to consider this as a cloud storage only account and not utilize the esignature and video conferencing which are the primary integrations is not the most optimal, nor cost effective plan. ShareFile in my opinion is great though if you're a Citrix power user it can help your speed to close.
