SEMrush

The thing I enjoyed the most about SEMrush is that it can find keywords of any website that is driving traffic to it. SEMrush has more than 40 million domains and more than 95 million keywords in their database. You can find statistics and detail of any particular keyword you are looking for. I use SEMrush for two main reasons, to quickly evaluate if a site is trusted by Google based on how many keywords they rank for, and to figure out new keywords a customer might want to rank for by pulling SEMrush data on a competitor. I like how easy the system is to use and how you can export large amounts of data to Excel.

A part of the usability and functionality isn't as well thought out as it could be. Once in a campaign, I think a user should be able to access all other services as they transmit to the campaign, as opposed to needing to resubmit information. They had a problem on an update but had a quick solvation.

Overall SEMrush is an SEO tool that I use on a daily basis for my clients. It is the only software that I know of where you can still get keyword level ranking data. That is a big plus in my eyes. We use SEMrush to see how many keywords our client and their competitors are ranking for over time. The competitive analysis tools that they provide is great and helps keep a pulse on how websites are performing.
