Sakai

Sakai is very user friendly and is constantly evolving due to its nature of being open source. It makes it easy to have a learning community in all academic activities through this online community. Sakai makes it easier being a student by making it possible to access materials for available classes.

Sakai is hard to install the first time. Not much after that. Of course like any other open source program, it has many areas to improve on, but I feel content right now. Communication between students and teachers could be improved on. Other than that it is a great learning platform.

As an open source software suite, Sakai continually evolves in step with the needs of the students, faculty members and organizations it serves, this makes it a great learning community as it continually strives to improve itself. Sakai makes it easier for every user to organize classes or activities they are involved in.
