Sakai

Sakai is an open source, web based platform especially very useful for all educational needs. In my opinion the best part using SAKAI is his flexibility, you can customize it in any way you want. Furthermore, using its trouble-free interface and tools you can have easy access to content, forums, lessons and chat communication and many more.

I have been using SAKAI for a very long time and I have never experienced important issues. Though, there are some areas that need some improvement. For example, when you start to set up the Sakai is quite complicated and difficult and you need some help. Also a search bar in the platform could be very useful for searching.

To conclude, I believe that Sakai is an excellent learning-teaching tool for educational and especially academic purposes. It gave you many advantages such as having all your material in one place, discusses with others, managing courses and many more. I would definitely recommend it for every school, university, student and teacher.
