Rerun

Rerun is a web-based recurring payments solution that plays well with QuickBooks, AccountEdge, Xero, and Slack. Rerun is easy to use and fast to setup. I like the fact that Rerun can handle exceptions (i.e. expired credit cards and ACH transfers). They don’t even require a merchant account to use their service. Rerun’s automated customer email notification system is truly time-saving. And their tracking system and integration with the checkout process of your website is painless, robust and reliable.

Rerun’s pricing is kind of weird. For example Visa and Mastercard fees are: 2.9% of the total product/service cost plus $0.30 per transaction, American Express fees are: 2.99% of the total product/service cost and $0.25 per transaction, and bank transfers are $1.49 per transfer. I understand that American Express costs vendors more to process, but as you can see from the above; Rerun has made them all about the same price? And ACH transfers are popular because they are convenient and free for my customers; so Rerun’s $1.49 per transfer fee may discourage me from offering that payment method to my customers OR simply not using Rerun for ACH payments; thus defeating the purpose of using Rerun in the first place?

Rerun can save a lot of time if you have to handle many instances of recurring payments. Businesses can customize how they want to get paid, types of reports generated, and automatic email communications. With Rerun handling the financials and accounting, an individual or business can focus more on their core product or service.
