What was the best part about using Repsly?

Repsly is a mobile customer relationship management software tool available for Android and iOS devices. This company has some cool customers using it for the field reps like Nike so I was interested in learning more. It is the first mobile based CRM I have tested though have recently completed relatively in depth research into at least twenty five others in the market, so I was interested beyond the initial mobile hook that makes it valuable. As other CRM's may not brand themselves as mobile first but definitely are available on mobile devices I was curious to know how this software tailored to this aspect. I was able to download the app and open it up using the login details provided in my Repsly account seamlessly, and was glad to see that it works just fine on my older iPhone 4 with iOS 7, so you know the company cares about its end users when they have their software enabled for six year old smartphones. Practically ancient by smartphone standards. I quickly understood what makes this mobile CRM cool. As an entrepreneur and small business owner the first form of lead generation I ever did on my own was on foot, in person up and down the streets downtown in the city in which I lived at the time. I recall having thirty seconds to one minute on average to speak to the person most in charge and present a flyer. But there was no organization beyond this at all. Repsly allows you to start your day by clicking the button which logs the time you have started each day. Next, you can click a timer when you enter the physical location of a prospect. You can take notes or photos right from the app as well though the GPS is a particularly powerful feature. Not only does it map your prospects for you but it shows the locations you have visited and your route. You can use any of the approximately twenty or so filters to search your CRM data instantly which is good. And you can go online to learn about everything should you happen to be on your laptop or desktop. And the ability to have more than one selection in a drop down menu as part of your form would be useful when completing surveys or market research from this app. The pricing is quite reasonable considering this is a sales tool that can help grow your bottom line directly. I don't enjoy cold calling much but I do quite like meeting new people in person and enjoy the opportunity to create the best first impression multiple times through the day. We are a start up currently printing up promos which can be hand delivered not as a sole means of lead generation but for a supplement to our integrative marketing efforts. Something we can do ongoing as we are out and about perhaps doing other things, though always and ongoing consistently. And $49 per month seems worth the investment as the sales would certainly result in a very healthy return on investment, no problem.

What would you change about your experience with Repsly?

Everything I had though that should perhaps be in your account is available on your phone otherwise, such as video and audio recording though perhaps these could be included as part of the app down the road so it is quicker to use these. The app is great for B2B though seems completely geared to it and not so much for B2C based business. For example, prospects utilizing forms prior creating a profile would be useful for B2C though it is the other way around for B2B in the app only.

Overall Feedback

Overall, I'm glad to have learned about this CRM. It's relatively unique in the market with it's GPS capabilities, time tracking and the ability to use your mobile device apps in compliment it such as your phone camera and audio recorder should you want. And having had a need for this in the past but not aware of it at the time I'm glad to know it's possible to have a centralized dashboard for contacts on my iPad. Another start I did marketing for had field sales agents who did everything for their CRM by coming back to the office early and copy and pasting manually from their notes. This would have enabled them to have one or two more hours selling in the field per day. Hey maybe it would tipped the sales in favor of the start up and allowed them to become sustainable instead it's a ancient history and I guess we will never know. I can recommend this CRM especially if you are full time in the field it's going to help you out a lot.
