RefWorks

Refworks has been an enormous asset in my life as it does have all of the features in one place that I need to perform my research work and manage it with. It's best feature I feel is that it generates citations and they are 100% accurate. One can quickly import articles from allover the web into it very rapidly and it does support most online libraries and indexes as well. Additionally, it can also be linked to Microsoft word and other office programs and cuts out much of the time one would spend compiling their research info and generating bibliographies.

Refworks is simple to use, however in some facets, it could use some improvements. Sharing with others is not nearly as easy as I had hoped it would be. It takes a bit of work to also get started on a paper once the references are all in place. It also seems to stick in some places when sharing with others and after refreshing a page. Refiworks will manage things well for those who tend to learn things quickly. I expect that the interface could be quite confusing and complex at times to someone who is not tech-savvy. I also noticed that it does not catch all of the duplicate issues that it should- so someone should employ a back-up plagiarism detector for this reason.

Refiworks really offers a lot to someone who writes a lot! It is massively time-sparing when it comes to creating accurate bibliographies and generating different academic formats of citations. The manager itself works proficiently once an individual figures out how to use it properly. I would not recommend this to anyone who is not very acquainted with high-tech interfaces as it would be more hassle than it is worth and take more time learning it than using it to one's advantage.
