This was one of the search engine ranking position tracking software I had tried during my recent research into the best of the best and most suited to our company project. The claim which differentiates this software most is that rankings occur in real time. You can do competitive research as well by specifying URL's and locations and compare their performance. They have multiple search engines available and include Google Places (now Google My Business) along with Yandex which makes this software unique. You can monitor global, national and city ranking results which is good. You can use the software in a collaborative way by adding additional users to your account. You can group keywords and compare groups to help understand traffic estimates based on groups which is a cool idea. The software allows you to assign a weight to keywords to help you determine a more accurate analysis with long tail keywords. The reporting is very visual which I like. And their is a historical component which allows you to compare snapshots of rankings for your projects and competitor projects over time.

They still call Google My Business to be Google Places and their blog was abandoned in 2014 which doesn't indicate they are currently active in their field. While they well may be this doesn't leave a great first impression as a prospect knowing knowledge in the SEO field changes a lot. And that is a huge factor which prevented me from purchasing their software as a service, but other than that for what it does this software appears to do well.

I like that it's pay as you go with prices quite reasonable starting at about five dollars USD which I checked per fifty keywords for one month. You can adjust the frequency of the ranking checks to help keep your pricing better inline with your budget. Though I don't know if the pricing model was ultimately successful if they put this much effort into a good tool only to abandon it a few years ago already. Which is too bad because this software had some things going for it that I had not seen otherwise during my research into at least a couple dozen search engine optimization tools in the market. If I owned this software I would keep it current because I believe there are ways it differentiates itself which make it unique. Though I cannot currently recommend it simply because they don't appear to be currently active from a presales point of view in the SEO field at least.
