HP Quality Center is a platform as a service enabling a complete and very extensible set of software tools to help automate deployment of your app securely. This software helps you with your management using automation as well to complete repeatable, tedious tasks which is a big time saver. I appreciate that HP has a free version available for up to five users to download, install and begin using. It's just over one gigabyte in size so it's not too big to get started within a few minutes with a reliable internet connection. The user interface is relatively easy to setup and get going with quickly. I like the version control as well as the risk planning features which are particularly strong. As well the analytics reporting which is highly visual and much easier to learn than other formats. The ability for developers to collaborate is good along with the synchronization with their HPE Agile. You increase the risk of having a defective product by not using a lifecycle based approach, so it's one of the strongest reasons to consider HP Quality Center or another similar to it. I have been interested in the best customer, project or product lifecycle based software quite intensely over the last couple of months and am pleasantly surprised at the value offered by HP with this software. Part of this I suppose is an expectation that big companies seem to sometimes be more rigid in aspects of their software, or pricing such as IBM to be honest, and are seem to still popular because they have been around such a long time. Before there was so many other choices and many perhaps superior. And I had yet to try out something from HP, yet was pleasantly surprised how well Quality Center is quality wise and in terms of usability. By enabling automation in Quality Center you can bring down costs through the streamlined processes possible, which take some time to setup but will directly affect your bottom line. Conserving time by utilizing advanced workflows for individuals on your team and across entire projects all within a central dashboard so that's all good. While the miscommunication and human error has to be greatly reduced by using a centralized platform to store all project information. The ability to compile reports is very good as well. You can do this here and it's all up to date and easy to share with others. You can also import Excel spreadsheets so that's good too.

It's great to have a lifecycle based business management solution with this much functionality but there is an investment required in order to setup your systems for the most optimal workflow and role based workflow efficiency. This is certainly not a negative strictly speaking especially as someone who actually really loves learning and tackling new projects. But in business this is not the most valuable use of time simply because time is money, of course.

Overall it is very worthwhile to spend time to learn this software in order to help your team adopt it as quickly as possible by having your systems setup and workflows established. Simply so that you may minimize this for your team and help grow revenue through best use of time having prepared to utilize a customer lifecycle software suite to it's full potential. The main strength of this software in my opinion is the ability to organize and automate your business processes along with your testing all completely organized and visible by everyone involved in the project. Quality Center is exactly that; a qualitative way to enable your team with full visibility and control through a central hub which is kept up to date in real time which is practical and helpful.
