The QStrat was designed with three supply chain management products: QLM costing, QLM sourcing and QLM sales, all very flexible systems deployed as Web-based or as on- premise software solutions. The good thing about this platform its built-in number of applications such as supplier management, procurement and strategic sourcing suitable for automotive, life sciences, pharmaceutical, consumer- packaged goods and global trading industries.

Great as the QStart looks to be, it has got its own setbacks, same as other software in its category but since I have nothing to write on that, its advantages far outweigh whatever issues it has. I specifically like the fact that this platform allows business users see every supplier info as well as contracts in a single central repository while routing/ tracking individual RFQs, QUOTE DATA and BOMs.

This platform supports integration with other popular ERPs including Oracle, Infor, SAO and NetSuite. The QLM costing function enables users create detailed BOMS, while data can be exported in XML, and it allows data editing capabilities in other programs. So if you seek a platform suitable for keeping track of complex quotes using old- fashioned spreadsheets, the QStrat is the perfect choice.
