What was the best part about using ProEDI Translator?

Their software is pretty easy to use, but very customizable for whatever your business needs are. They don't have 'canned maps' - so the 837 / 835 Maps are created based on your organization's Application File Layout, in our case a SQL database we created in house. Because of this, all the data aligns nicely with what our Trading Partners are sending us / looking for.

What would you change about your experience with ProEDI Translator?

It takes a while to write healthcare maps... But you can pay them to write them for you. The 835s and 837 x12 version 5010 maps are huge FYI.

Overall Feedback

Great product if you want control of your entire EDI system In-House. Works well with Healthcare, and they do all EDI X12 and EDIFACT Transactions as well. Great Support Team, everyone spoke English, one person spoke Spanish and another spoke Greek!
