Prezi

The first time I used Prezi was around 2010 or 2011. Back then, I was quite amazed at how unique the 'presentation' was and even thought that because it new in the eyes of most people, you could draw much more attention that ordinary PPTs. The 'fresh' look it gives to the audience who's been used with MS Powerpoints is exactly what I like most about it.

Even though if offers 'fresh' look of presentations, it is still quite 'challenging' to use. Number 1 would be because you can't really 'play' it unless you have Prezi in your laptop or PC (same with MS Powerpoint). But, since not everyone really uses it, in case of unexpected incidents on your laptop, you can't really relay on someone else's PC. Further to that, you can't also print your Prezi slides. Meaning, you may have to prepare a different file that would list everything in your presentation should it be necessary to hand over print outs to your audience.

It's good if you could try Prezi. Different individuals, different industries, different preferences. You might find out that it's the type of presentation that you really need. As for me, I actually switched back to Powerpoint mainly because it's really more presenter-friendly. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me but another reason why I had to quite using Prezi was because I felt dizzy looking at my presentation during reviews - seeing letter zoomed in and out. Lol
