I would give 0 stars if it would let me. I have not had one good experience with paypal. Very very unhappy with paypal customer service.

Better communication from paypal about verifying your account before letting you send money that paypal will hold until you jump through 100s of hoops to get back.

I tried to send money through my Australia paypal account to my USA paypal account. Which I have done before. When I sent the money everything was fine. after Paypal pulled the money from my Australia bank account and sent it to my USA paypal account the frozen my account pending approval. Which mean they canceled my payment and did not transfer my money back to my bank account but in stead they are holding my money in my Australia paypal account. Where I can not transfer my money back to my bank account. I can not send or receive or anything else with my account. I can't even close my account until I verify who I am. Let me tell you why this is a problem. I came home to the USA from Australia. I was visiting on a working/Holiday visa. I can not verify my address in Australia because I no longer am in Australia. Paypal only has exemptions in place if you have a working visa which is not the same as a working/holiday visa. When I called on the phone to get it all straightened out. The first guy I talked to told me there was nothing to be done. He would not transfer me to a manager or help me in anyway. I had to call back to talk to someone else to told me the only other option was to send in a certified copy of my passport. Now I have sent in my certified copy of my passport. YET NO ONE can tell me how long it will take to get it verified so that I can have my money back in my bank. I have called and check 3 times since my passport was received. it has been almost 2 weeks. All paypal can tell me is that I need to wait for it to be verified. But no one knows how long that will be. Paypal is hold over 1000.00 of my money and can't seem to give me any info on when I can get it back. I will never use paypal again. I have never been so unhappy and upset over using a service. Next time I will just pay to have the bank transfer the money for me. SO very very disappointment with paypal and there customer service
