What was the best part about dealing with Optfirst?
OptFirst is a digital marketing company which offers several different marketing campaign approaches and web design as well. They provide reputation management, pay per click management, website conversion optimization and search engine optimization all together. I have contacted OptFirst in regards to an SEO campaign for an ecommerce based retail startup for a national campaign here in Canada which may include higher traffic local keywords as well. I am surveying the best of the best rated SEO companies in order to determine who should get our business with OptFirst included on this list.
They have several clients on their website with several recognizable brands which is a good indicator or their authority in the SEO industry. They also have four video testimonials on their site and more in their proposal which is great to see. Along with an internet browser plugin available for Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera search engines able to do some competition analysis for you quickly. That's solid value offered freely which I appreciate, though I'm hesitant to keep it installed one hundred percent of the time knowing it's in the best interest of search engine optimization companies in general to track data.
What would you change about your experience with Optfirst?
I would like to perhaps see more certifications. This is one way some their competition is differentiating themselves with Facebook, Yahoo, Bing and other partner certifications. I would also like to see accreditation in the Better Business Bureau which is an easy way to build a lot of trust quickly through transparency with prospects if there really is no reason not to they would do well to do so. I think with more certifications and accreditation in the BBB this company could easily take the next level in their own business to secure even bigger clients than they have shown to have done already. At this price I would also like to see the company get to know our business a bit more to learn our CPA, COG and more in order to determine our best use of marketing budget, as this company does offer PPC management as well.
Overall Feedback
Adam from OptFirst provided a dynamic, personalized proposal within a couple of days which contains a lot of value including their process, pricing, client examples with proof of results including links to their and keywords which are ranked on the first page. It also provided a background of the company. I very much appreciate their CEO's SEO methodology it's brilliant a clearly laid out. They mention some advanced search engine optimization strategies in their proposal which is great too. I really believe in their approach and love their confidence.
The proposal itself is very good quality. There is a lot of valuable insight and though it is mostly pre-written it does contain our logo and a bit of keyword research which I do appreciate a lot. The remainder of the proposal is all very clear about it's purpose and helpful in it's message. I was quoted two thousand dollars per month with a minimum twelve month contract in order to get results which is certainly not the most expensive during my research into the best rated SEO companies. But the twelve month contract without guaranteeing your work, which a few companies do in their list of direct competition, is still a bit risky comparatively speaking in my opinion. As the companies which guarantee their work in the topseos review site list of top search engine optimization providers also provide links to prove their results. Although this company references reverse engineering competition back linking which is a very effective strategy and going beyond this to find untapped, relevant backlinks together which is well worth the investment with successful results in most industries I'm guessing. I would most likely value working with this company for our forthcoming project their offer may be slightly beyond our scope as their quote of twenty four thousand per year is in USD, which sadly makes it closer to forty thousand in Canadian currency actually.
