The OpenText was designed as an enterprise information management tool with the ability to enable business institutions operate at lower costs while reducing information governance and growing their businesses. However I realized that the platform actually focuses on key business success drivers that strengthen business impact, address information governance while improving business insight. This is a powerful tool for business process management.

This platform is not a price friendly software as it is beyond the reach of most small and mid- size business enterprises. It offers no training session support for new industry users who require their staff get acquainted with the platform. The OpenText ECM also does not allow integration with known platforms and does not offer a mobile platform for users on the go.

I mostly like some of its robust platform features as they were in- sync with my project requirements at the time. They include process modeling & design, collaboration, data/ process mapping, lifecycle management, process analysis and simulation amongst many others. It comes with a fantastic user interface that allows easy customization and its search function is very easy. However, I also liked its incredible drag and drop function for file uploads. The tool worked well for me and I gladly recommend it.
