What was the best part about using OLAP on hadoop?

Hadoop is without doubt one of the best solution available. If you want to learn Hadoop the there are hundreds of resources including online free courses from MOOC providers. Hadoop can be used for machine learning and data storage. Hadoop is very good to build data model even for large amount of data. Teradata is expensive and Sas can not process data of over 3 years.

What would you change about your experience with OLAP on hadoop?

Since Hadoop is open source it makes one of the most robust and solid Business Intelligence software. It is suitable for any kind of businesses. Hadoop delivers strong ways for parallel programming and it is able to handle petabytes of information. Hadoop can experience slow performance with small data sets. OLTP is problematic with Hadoop.

Overall Feedback

Hadoop has some issues with security and stability. Despite those points Hadoop is really a standard and it is an important asset in any company. There are tremendous learning resource available. The process of installation is bit difficult. The dashboard design needs to be improved and it is not always easy to navigate toward specific feature.
