Oktapost is a social media management and prospecting tool for B2B based companies. It's a very easy system to use with the dashboard very user friendly and intuitive to learn and use. They lead you through the initial steps required to setup your accounts and start moving forward. You can explore the account and get to know the functionality within a few minutes. I like the ability to pre-schedule content and post it accordingly to several different social media network. This is good for creating brand awareness and community as well as prospecting. You have a lot of reporting analytics in your account to help you measure performance in several ways such as click through rates, conversion rates and how much engagement each Tweet or post creates. I also like the content curation feature where you can obtain useful content relevant to your company and post it immediately or schedule it to be posted. So you're able to utilize some of the amazing, interesting content to help build your community and link it back to your website. This process works well but it's a long term process in terms of lead generation. The content you curate is linked to the original source so it's a completely legitimate use of other's content. The social media listening feature is cool as well where by you can monitor various social media channels for your brand to be mentioned and then follow up accordingly whether it's a customer support issue, a product or service issue, or something along the positive lines such as a shout out or shared link. You can follow up accordingly or engage your customer to thank them for their review. The social advocacy capabilities become available with your paid upgrade and allow colleagues and employees to become empowered and involved in marketing and brand awareness. The collaborative tools are cool tool which make it easy for you to link to others and share media across accounts. You can create an excellent, productive workflow by using Oktapost. The extensibility of this platform is very good as well there are a number of useful integrations you can sync to seamlessly very easily including HubSpot which is one of my favorite companies of all time, Bitly which is a great free URL shortener, SalesForce tools including Social Insights, Pardot and their customer relationship management software. Marketo is a great marketing automation software. Net-Results and Eloqua are a couple other CRM's you may already be using. And there are couple more as well but it's more than most social media management softwares in their market but not all.

I don't know how this product is geared towards B2B only. I understand why they would do that but I fail to see how it isn't relevant for B2C based companies as well besides the integrations which are possible. I've reviewed several social media management suites and tools and they share all of the functionality Oktapost does but don't limit their target audience in any way. That being said, the integrations are limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google+ which I agree are the best for B2B currently but they seem to be ignoring niche businesses who may utilize Pinterest or Instagram for example.

The software is remarkably well setup and easy to use. There's more functionality under the hood so to speak than at first glance, though it's all easy to find and use. It's versatile in the sense that you have curation, scheduling, posting, monitoring and collaboration tools all in one place which makes the overall value of the software very good. The integrations are also excellent and enable Oktapost to become a core part of your daily business.
