Odoo is a all-in-one management software. The business application suite covers all the business needs thanks to its applications: CRM, Accounting, Invoicing, Billing, eCommerce, Website, LiveChat, HR, Project, Timesheet, Helpdesk, MRP, Inventory, Maintenance, Marketing, ... there are more than 30 apps available on the online edition. All these apps are integrated with each other which saves you a lot of time! The solution is modular and you can choose to add an extra app, one at the time. This flexibility allows you to grow following your pace and without overwhelming your system with unnecessary features. Odoo is available Online, (in the cloud), and on-site (on-premise version).

What was the best part about using Odoo?

Odoo (formerly OpenERP) is a robust and powerful business management software that is open source and it features a fully functional free plan for small businesses and small teams. Odoo has a very nice user interface and it features a lot of modules and functionalities including CRM module, Website builder, eCommerce, HR module and more. The free plan support for up to 50 users and only one app is included. The other plans are very affordable and feature customization, support service and implementation.

What would you change about your experience with Odoo?

Odoo offers free Android applications to stay in touch on the go but they offer separated Android applications which can be frustrating. Messaging application is separate than the notes app. Odoo also integrates for an additional cost with carriers and shipping companies including UPS, DHL, FedEX, USPS, and others. The documentation offered by Odoo could be improved. There are some complaints about functionalities lack with Odoo.

Overall Feedback

The discuss interface is so simple and easy to use since you can create private rooms and public room and assign a name preceded with a hashtag. Contacts can be created easily with custom fields and possibility to attach a picture. Odoo is a flexible platform since it offers many add-ons including Inventory management module, Invoicing, Accounting and Finance, Recruitment add-on, Expense Tracker, Purchase management, Timesheets and more. Those modules can be easily installed from the corresponding interface. Although the more you add modules the more costs increase.
