MyMediaInfo’s easy web-based system is definitely a good tool if you haven’t used such software’s a lot in the past – it is very easy to use and its’ intuitive, fully comprehensive database capabilities are absolutely crucial for successful PR monitoring. It has also insightful analytic features and sending press releases is rather joyful thanks to the user-friendly system.

Though it can be a great tool in some ways, I found there to be some big lacks when it comes to its’ reliability. When you are conducting some bigger searches, the system’s main flaws appear. With bigger searches it freezes completely and becomes unusable, but also the system won’t show you all results – simply if the data wished was „too big“ for the system, you cannot trust it to fulfill your need.

As the system is at most parts largely helpful with comprehensive analytics and easy user-friendly interface, the reliability issue can be a big downer – for me, it killed the user experience a bit but if they would improve it, there is no reason why not to give them a try. MyMediaInfo can be very helpful for small-time users or users who are just starting with such software.
