Founded in 2002, MLtek are a UK based software business specialising in solutions for common yet challenging IT Infrastructure issues. Initially founded by Mark Laverty, MLtek now draws on the resources of multiple specialists in different technology sectors to deliver high quality, reliable and innovative products. Examples of this approach include their "Archiver" file server archiving solution, "Process Controller" and "IP Spider" their IP route monitoring solution that is currently in development. Other products are also in the pipeline including a re-developed version of CISearch.Net which will include full Exchange Server mailbox search support thus creating a single Exchange\File system knowledge discovery solution. What was the best part about working with MLtek?

Having worked in IT infrastructure for over 20 years I understand a lot of the day to day challenges that face engineers and managers. The inspiration for our products comes directly from those moments when I have needed a tool in the past, and it either hasn't existed or those that were available fell short. MLtek gives me the chance to work with a team of dedicated and passionate people and bring these tools to market to help other people overcome the same challenges I have faced.

What would you change about your experience with MLtek?

I would align all the clocks of the world so that everyone was at work at the same time, and off at the same time. We have clients from all over the world and it is not uncommon for one of us to be on a skype call at 03:00 GMT!

I could go on and on evangelizing about how fantastic I think our business and products are, but I know the best way to get the message across is simply to invite you to have a look for yourself.
