This was a digital marketing company I had reached out to learn more about whether they were the best fit for our social media management and content marketing as they have come quite highly recommended from a top review source online. They had a decent amount of valuable content for prospects on their site. They were not accredited in the Better Business Bureau but they were listed. The single complaint in the last three years is available in a good amount of detail and I can certainly understand how this customer was a handful to say the least. While the customer may have not had a great return on investment which is the hardest part as a client to accept, it sounds like the agreement was fulfilled according to their terms so that's was their risk though it sound like expectations could have been managed a bit better up front. Though a single complaint is nothing to worry about at all in my opinion.

I find their website to seem quite old school in terms of design and it's odd not having a logo in my opinion. It seemed that for a company that offers online branding as a service should have a leading edge design and a logo. They have a great domain and I can visualize a great looking logo for them which was a minor issue but usually an integral component of branding in my opinion. As I liked seeing that a company practices what they are offering and leading by example that's all. And no offense to the lady who was hired in January, 2016 but hiring someone with zero experience, while a lovely persona and a quick learner perhaps, this doesn't give the greatest first impression as to the current level of knowledge of their staff. Digital marketing is vast and has taken me years to have the understanding which I have worked hard to accumulate. I honestly understand this and am willing to hire people without much experience if they are truly committed to learning, but advertising this seemed more like a friendly, personal thing to do rather than a professional statement that facilities trust in prospects.

Their site has a solid Woorank and the company had a decent amount of social media followers which suggests they are active themselves in their own market which I appreciated seeing. They also had a solid technology stack with premium hosting and other indicators that they are not a budget company which is going to use our budget to pay their bills and then go order a few Fiverr gigs with the remaining twenty five bucks for example, but that they were committed to scaling up their business based on having great infrastructure and tracking at the core. I loved that they had a great stance on corporate social responsibility. Seeing companies doing this much beyond their own bottom line. This value they offer to others to help goes a long way in my book. I had a consultation with Matt who was the owner on the phone and appreciated his time. They sent a prompt proposal and have an incredible process and methodology for their services which was tailored and based around optimized personas and storytelling which is a great approach. We went in another direction however based on the budget I have to work with to implement an entire integrated marketing campaign it simply was not within our scope to work with them at the moment. However this is an awesome company with a great approach and I happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable company to help grow their business.
