MicroStation gives you the ability to complete task in multiple ways with lots of features you can use to assist you on your needs . The InRoads extensions are very powerful tools and can be used in multiple tasks . The wizards feature makes tasks automated to integrate raw data from other programs .After customization and after you memorize the key in tasks , your job gets a lot easier.

Missing key commands unlike Autocad . Some shortcuts doesn't make sense . Some buttons are not appropriately labeled so you end up searching for tools . The user interface looks pretty old and needs to be updated . The accuracy of drafting could also be improved as sometimes even the smallest tasks of aligning elements or joining elements can hard .

I would recommend that you use the 64bit edition, processing is limited with 32bit . I would also recommend MicroStation for short-term projects , things that need a quick fix .Great drafing tool for both 2D and 3D. It will take some time to get use to the interface if you are an AutoCAD user. Be prepared with a lot of patience when you have to use it to master it .Customize your Miscrostation to make your work more efficient .
