Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

In general, this software is very useful to measure the progress of each individual when it comes to academic achievement. Data is recollected and then compared over time to evaluate complete progress. Teachers can plan their activities and set goals according to their students real needs and this is something very important.

I do not find anything wrong in particular with this tool. It offers what it claims to at the beginning and it helps students excel in their problem areas. However, some friends have said that students are more than just their progress at school and that many other kinds of intelligence are not taken into account here.

PRO: what I find most remarkable about MAP is the level of personalization it offers in terms of assessment. Each student’s progress can be studied in detail so that better strategies and resources are then used in order to have a higher proficiency level in that particular student. A very useful tool indeed.
