There are good parts to this overpriced dreck? It doesn't even come on a CD that I can use as a coaster.

I would love nothing more than to never have to use this awful, lazy program again.

I don't buy the "helps students" line at all. McGraw-Hill Connect allows lazy instructors to no longer create or grade their own homework assignments. Furthermore, why bother lecturing about class material now that the online component can do that? With the requirement to actually lecture about a given subject (and thus have any knowledge of it at all) having been removed, why bother having requirements to teach college students? Now the geology professor can pick up that evening biology class because he/she no longer needs to know anything about the subject being taught. Face-to-face lecture time can now be used to talk about whatever the instructor wants (class related or not). Just look at those bored, glossed eyes in your captivated audience- they're loving it. As an added bonus to cash-strapped colleges everywhere, McGraw-Hill's "Teaching For Dummies" will easily tack on another $80-$100 to the price of already expensive textbooks. Winning!
