McGraw-Hill Connect

It gives me motivation to graduate college so I never have to use this product again.

I would make my experience with McGraw-Hill Connect never take place. Learn smart wouldn't exist.

I HATE McGraw-Hill Connect. I have been using this product for the last 3 or 4 semesters unfortunately, and I just can't take it anymore. I am literally taking a break from using the product to write this review and vent before I go back to trying to use it again. I'll touch on each area in which I rated the product one star. Usability: I hate using this. It's hard to use and nothing works right. It has seriously in the past taken me 30 minutes to get something to work properly. Though, after the 30 minutes has gone by, that doesn't mean I got it to do what it's supposed to. That's just the point I give up. The interface is terrible and I don't even try to navigate the program anymore. I just close it and start from the beginning when I am done with using a certain part of it, because I know there is no way I'll be able to go back and find the next part I need without wasting a bunch of time. Feature Set: The features that are claimed sound pretty nice. Going back to how nothing works right most of the time, I can't ever get any of the features to do what is claimed. It's just a poorly designed e-book with a poorly-designed homework feature. Reliability: Nothing works. I don't even try to use this product unless I absolutely have to. Which I do absolutely have to because it's how the homework for the class is done. -Which leads me to one of my biggest complaints. I don't need a way of studying forced upon me. The Learnsmart thing makes me have a stroke every time I have to use it. It has easily been the biggest displeasure of my college career, and I'm not just saying that. The program makes me lose interest in the content. It, in my opinion, is nothing more than a nuisance and a waste of my time. I can be more efficient by manipulating Learnsmart and speeding through it and then studying my own way on my own time. Pricing: Insanely overpriced. What textbook isn't though frankly. Support: McGraw-Hill always has representatives give presentations about the product at the beginning of every semester. They can't answer any questions ever and, other than the words they read off of the power-points they have, it's like they don't even know the product at all. As far as contacting them, I hope you have plenty of time to find their contact info and and actually make contact. I also hope you enjoy disappointment, because that's all I've ever received from their support. If you have the option, avoid this product at all costs.
