McDougall Interactive is a digital marketing agency which is among the top rated according to one of the leading review sites online. So I thought to get ahold of them and learn why they are rated so highly and what separates them from their competition. I did not find this company to be listed or accredited in Better Business Bureau which would certainly help the level of transparency for prospects wanting to trust them implicitly. Even being listed shows this much more than not having anything to do with it at all in my opinion. The SEO case studies seem to be lacking links to current examples somewhat compared to their competition. And I would like to see Google Partner certification for a company doing pay per click ad management. They list it on their site but when you click it states there is no longer a profile available currently indicating they are not currently certified. Attending to this lack of transparency would create a more viable first impression for prospects as well.

McDougall Interactive has a lot of positive things going for it. They nearly pass all of my presales criteria up front which helps their case. Enough that despite my concerns mentioned I have reached out to learn more directly. I am not blown away by their offer but it does provide solid value. I appreciated John's quick response to my request and received a link to their contracts the next day. I believe theses offers address the majority of search engine optimization and content marketing needs for most companies. I also believe this company can be relied upon to fulfill the services they set out to on time and budget. Though to be honest I do find the value they are offering for the price they are asking to be quite high for a start up to consider when I have so much set out to use for a entire integrated campaign from which we will scale up based on directly reinvesting revenue back into it. I do appreciate the clear options up front without a lot of pressure to move forward. They are clearly able to back up their prices with over three hundred clients it mentions in their proposal. While that is not the most impressive growth for a digital marketing agency in business since 1995 I respect that they know what they want to fulfill, what is proven to work for them and offer exactly just that.
