MavSocial is a content marketing and social media management software as a service which has a great free forever plan as well as an enterprise level plan which is quoted based according to your needs. I am very impressed with the value offered in the free account. I really appreciate it and how this empowers small businesses to become successful. This will certainly help their brand loyalty and word of mouth marketing. Which you will find during your due diligence is already very positive. There are a few features which differentiate this software from others besides the fact it's fully featured and completely free. Such as the digital asset library included. A DAM solutiono such as this is typically found as a it's own software as a service and certainly not common in social media management SAAS currently in the market, in my opinion. You're given a solid amount of cloud storage with one gigabyte for free which will hold a ton of images, text and quite a few smaller videos to help organize your brand assets and increase the efficiency and productivity of your team while doing so. There is an in-app purchase of professional images available but they are Getty Images so pretty much the best quality. It's a completely complimentary option to have in your account, and you don't need to utilize this to have full access otherwise in your free account. And they are amazing photos if you have the means to afford them, and they have a great affiliate program so you can certainly understand MavSocial having this there. I like the content planning and scheduling in which you can preschedule one or more posts to one or multiple social media networks while using dynamic such as text, images, videos and even audio which is awesome. There is easy RSS integration as well inside your account which is still a relevant means of traffic and content nowadays especially with news outlets.

There isn't a content curation feature it seems. But having done a lot of research into curation and content marketing tools I would suggest a work around to curate content when using MavSocial which would require a bit of copy and pasting but nothing too extensive. There are several Google Chrome extensions which will curate content for you including citing the source. The one I would recommend most highly is called ExpressCurate which will create Wordpress posts for you including the source of the content and it was free the last time I checked. I've spoken with one of the developers on their team and they were making constant updates about a year ago during this time so I'd imagine it's quite reliable. My project changed so I only discontinued use for this reason. The curated content could be easily copy and pasted into your MavSocial account for scheduling and posting across multiple networks. I would also love to see Pinterest and Google+ integrated just to have all of the major sites covered, and because our retail target demographic are heavy Pinterest users as well. Although I'm very happy with the social networks of choice otherwise, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr. The free account allows you to have up to fifty social media profiles integrated to these major six social media sites as well so that's tremendous leverage possible freely and I'm grateful for it. There's solid analytic reporting available as so you can observe performance and adapt your campaigns accordingly in order to achieve the greatest return on your investment. You can enable permissions for your team so access is granted accordingly. The user interface itself is exceptionally well designed and very intuitive to navigate and begin using quickly.

Other than the fact you cannot currently curate content from your account for posting to your social media accounts there is very little reason not to love MavSocial. I am perfectly fine with this limitation because if you think out of the box and utilize other tools such as Buffer, BuzzSumo and ExpressCurate you can create a semi-automated curation system which is as all you can aim for in terms of quality content marketing and curation. Anything full automated in terms of curating content is going to been as black hat and probably harm your efforts more than help in my opinion. This way, you can add a thoughtful quick paragraph and a new headline to make each post your own while including a link back to the source and this is much more valuable for SEO and readers alike. MavSocial makes scheduling and posting content very easy and it's free which is mind blowing because there are no strings or catches which is awesome!
