This is one of the search engine optimization software suite of tools which I had surveyed recently in my research of the best of the best for our project. I actually used a friends account but only for one night. The backlink history was available to use with their fresh index or historical index and provides you a number of criteria including external backlinks and referring domains. And they break down backlinks further into indexed URL's, images, nofollow links, subnets, deleted links and so on. The top backlinks have standard metrics such as source URL, anchor, target and last crawled date. It's a lot of information to help you analyze your inbound link profile. The neighbourhood checker lets you allows you to have a bigger picture of you backlink profile. The clique hunter lets you view sites which link to your competitors and indentify these opportunities to build links to your site. There are Firefox and Chrome plugins available.

It's difficult to pick anything missing from this software as it's comprehensive in just about every way I can think of. I don't believe sub-domains are included in the backlink searches and perhaps that's a minor way it could be improved. The sheer amount of tools and data do provide a lot of data upfront so there is a learning curve involved but it's just a matter of going through the process of doing so and not so much the high difficulty level. It's a tool for analyzing your backlinks and not a rank checker so to include SERP tracking would make it even more powerful perhaps but there are lots of tools available elsewhere which do just that.

This is an amazing tool to display your backlink profile and referring domains and to compare it to others such as your competition. You can run standard reports with their with their basic subscriptions which include a solid summary for any site you want. There are advanced reports available as well with their higher plans. There is a great educational component available as well so you can tap into their blog and tutorials anytime to get help. The pricing provides a lot more value than other SEO software for about the same cost per month. This software is definitely an authority in their field and I'm happy to have spent some time with their paid subscription. We will certainly use a portion of our budget to include it for our business moving forward. Highly recommended.
